I wrote my first book at the age of six, a story about a princess, a prince and an evil witch. I sold my first book at the age of - well, a few years later anyway - a story about a princess, a prince and an evil vampire race. Maybe I haven't grown as much as I'd hoped.
I signed a three-book deal with Kensington Brava for a series called "The Realm Series," just before Christmas in 2009. What a present! The first book will be released in February of 2011. And I'm fairly certain the second and third books will have a princess, a prince and a bad vampire, possibly an evil witch or two.
Being a member of different writing groups has helped my writing by leaps and bounds. I'm a member of IECRWA, RWA and its online chapters: FF&P, Chicklit, KOD and YARWA. I'm also represented by Caitlin Blasdell at Liza Dawson & Assoc.
