We are Inland Empire Chapter #63, a non-profit organization associated with Romance Writers of America® national organization.
IECRWA is located in the heart of the Inland Northwest: in eastern Washington and western Idaho,
in and around the cities of Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. We are fortunate to live in a scenic area
of natural beauty with lakes and rivers, mountains and meadows, trees and flowers.
Our purpose is:
- to promote creative excellence in romantic and women's fiction.
- to foster professional growth and support for our writers.
- to provide an atmosphere of fellowship and networking with other romance writers.
Our schedule includes various speakers and program offerings to assist writers as they learn and grow in their craft.
We are especially proud of our Picture This contest and our Annual Writer's Retreat.
For our tenth anniversary, the
2008 Picture This Contest went digital!
We have our winners for the 2008 Picture This Contest!
Congratulations to our winners and thanks to our entrants and to our final judge,
Harlequin Editor, Patience Smith.
